In fact there are 3 Oral B rechargeable power toothbrush lines:
- Oral B ProfessionalCare
- Oral B Pulsonic
- Oral B Vitality
- Oral B CrossAction
Let’s have a look at most important features of these brushes and try to find out how do they differ.
Oral B ProfessionalCare toothbrushes
Oral B ProfessionalCare toothbrush line consists of 4 models:
- Oral B ProfessionalCare SmartSeries 5000
- Oral B ProfessionalCare SmartSeries 4000
- Oral B ProfessionalCare 3000
- Oral B ProfessionalCare 1000
You have probably noticed that 5000 and 4000 models are called the ‘SmartSeries’ What does it mean?
SmartSeries models feature the Smart Display which is built in the toothbrush handle. The display provides the brush user with information about battery charge level, brushing time and few more things that improve the brushing experience.
You will find more information about SmartSeries toothbrushes in the article Oral B 4000 vs 5000 where I compare these two brushes.
There are also 2 brushes without the Smart Display – Oral B ProfessionalCare 3000 and Oral B ProfessionalCare 1000. These brushes do not have additional bells and whistles but they are getting the job done and are going it good.
It looks that the most important difference between 3000 and 1000 is the price. I have compared these brushes in article Oral B 1000 vs 3000.
